Standard ice cream most likely includes palm oil, slimmed milk powders and other unnatural ingredients, coupled with a much higher fat content. You may find you are left with a greasy film in your mouth after eating standard ice cream. Our gelato is significantly lower in fat amd is made using ‘good fats’ such as whole milk and fresh double cream. We pasteurise at a lower temperature to ensure the flavour of the milk and cream is preserved throughout the process, whilst maintaining microbiological safety. It takes longer, but we feel as though its essential to the finished product. We craft our gelato using real ingredients, never synthetic flavours.
